Quant Developer
to join a leading Asset Manager, focusing on building and optimizing the database infrastructure for a real-time risk and pricing engine. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on financial applications that directly impact investment strategies and portfolio management.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and optimize database systems for a real-time risk and pricing engine used across various asset classes.
Collaborate with quants and portfolio managers to deliver efficient, robust database solutions that support high-frequency analytics for risk management and pricing.
Ensure real-time data processing capabilities and seamless integration with market data, trade capture, and portfolio reporting modules.
Contribute to the architecture of scalable and secure database systems capable of handling large volumes of investment and market data efficiently.
Play a key role in modernizing the technology stack, enhancing performance and reliability for the asset management platform.
What We’re Looking For:
Strong programming skills
in languages such as Python, Rust, C++, or Java, with a focus on developing and optimizing database-driven applications.
Expertise in
relational databases
(SQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) and
NoSQL databases
(MongoDB, Cassandra).
Proven experience in designing and developing database solutions for
real-time financial applications
, ideally within asset management.
Knowledge of portfolio risk management, financial instruments, and pricing models is a plus.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and cloud computing in a financial services context is highly advantageous.
Strong problem-solving skills, with a passion for innovation and database performance improvement.
