Our client, a leading Quantitative Hedge Fund, is seeking a Quantitative Software Engineer to join their Trading Technologies team in London. The firm's team integrates innovative technology and trading strategies while utilizing a sophisticated research platform and development environment to realize consistent trading alphas.

Responsibilities:
Spearhead the development and launch of cutting-edge multi-asset trading analytics systems, including industry-leading TCA platforms.
Forge strategic partnerships with traders, portfolio managers, and researchers to align priorities and deliver high-impact solutions.
Define and lead the technical vision for core system components, such as data lakes, job schedulers, reporting systems, and dynamic analysis platforms.
Drive the scaling and optimization of data and reporting pipelines to support rapid business growth and evolving market demands.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional tech teams to ignite innovation and achieve breakthrough success.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Multiple years of experience as a technologist from a tier-one investment bank, hedge fund, or financial services vendor focusing on KDB development.
3 plus years of Trading Analytics or TCA systems development experience, including benchmarking and pricing orders across multiple asset classes.
Experience with q/KDB
Experience with cloud, container, and microservice infrastructures (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker, Helm)
Experience working with distributed systems and messaging technologies (Kafka, Kinesis, or similar
Experience in building robust data pipelines at scale (DBT, Airflow, or similar)
Proficiency in data manipulation (Pandas, Polars).
Strong programming skills in at least one other programming language (Python, Java, C++, etc.)
