Quantity Surveyor – Drylining Projects

Quantity Surveying is a tough gig at the moment, especially if you work in subcontracting. I could mention here about building regulations, chasing payments and bully boy main contractors but you know the drill.

That’s why it s so important to work for a company who have a good laugh, offer support when the going gets tough and have great office banter and a very strong team ethos, especially on their surveying team. Our client offers a ‘We’re all in this together’ mentality and they will lift you up on your bad days and give you help and advice on things you might not yet know.

Our client is a drylining subcontractor who offer a conductive upbeat atmosphere, which fosters growth and development for your career. An essential but rare tool in the world of subcontracting. They complete drylining and ceiling fit out projects for hospitals, schools, residential houses and flats as well as data centres and commercial fit out. Projects range in value from £2M - £8M.

Due to an increase in workload and healthy contracts agreed and currently being tendered for, together we are searching for a Quantity Surveyor to join their tight knit team. You will be predominantly office based with site visits on an as needed basis, depending on the demand of the projects, reporting into the Commercial Manager and leaning on the expertise of their current surveying team.

Their office is based in Redbourn so you can drive to work and park on site and all site travel will be paid for. Our client is looking for a Quantity Surveyor with a background in drylining and / or ceiling fit out with experience of working in specialist subcontractors.
