Quantity Surveyor - Industrial Warehouse

My well established Client is urgently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team on site 3 days a week, working on industrial warehouse projects. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic company specialising in the construction and development of logistics hubs, distribution centres, and industrial warehouses.

Key Responsibilities

• Cost management & budgeting for industrial warehouse projects.
• Preparing bills of quantities (BOQ) and tender documentation.
• Evaluating and managing subcontractor contracts and procurement.
• Conducting site valuations and cost control reporting.
• Managing risk assessments and value engineering.
• Working closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure cost efficiency.
• Ensuring compliance with building regulations and contractual obligations.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in industrial or commercial construction.
Strong knowledge of JCT & NEC contracts.
Experience with cost planning, forecasting, and reporting.
Proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, Excel).
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
MRICS or working towards RICS accreditation (preferred).
