Sphere Solutions is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor, to join regional successful contractor working across Cornwall and occasionally South Devon delivering multiple projects.

You will join an experienced commercial team, reporting to a Commercial Director working with a long-standing client base council, projects include roads, car parks, footpaths, groundworks and minor civils schemes.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking team of like-minded professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement / financial management of sub-contractors to maximise costs


• Commercial/financial management - valuations, reconciliations, and final accounts.


• Assist with tendering and pricing on occasions


• You will be required to report to the head office and travel to the site.

Key Requirements:

• HNC qualified or above


• Experience in a similar role, able to manage projects autonomously


• Commercial astute and good negotiation skills


• Will consider most sectors of construction but civils would be preferred but not essential


• A full driving license will be required,


• Proficient IT skills particularly Excel.
