Quantity Surveyor - Social Housing

18 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join their clients team on a part time - temp - perm basis.

Our client is a leading contractor in social housing disrepair, voids & adaptations and they are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join them on a part time basis (3 days a week) to work from their office with some travel around the North West. 

We are looking for someone who is passionate and enthusiastic with a Quantity Surveying background within social housing ideally with experience in disrepair works  and strong commercial/financial track record.

You will be:

• Monitor and report on expenditure: Planned v Actual, including cash flow forecasts and re-forecasting as required


• Set, review and monitor performance in line with contract


• Provide quote/costing reviews using a range of rate sources and utilising industry experience


• Assist with the procurement of new contracts; frameworks and one off “RFQ’s”


• Draft and complete standard forms of contract


• Co-ordinate and assist in the preparation of tender documentation to allow us to secure the services of a robust supply chain either at project level or multi supplier frameworks.
