Quantity Surveyor

We are looking to hire a Quantity Surveyor to become a key member of a dynamic construction team. This will give you the opportunity to work on historic�construction projects within the Oxfordshire region.�

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates for construction projects.


• Analyze and negotiate subcontractor bids and contracts.


• Monitor project costs and budgets to ensure profitability.


• Collaborate with project managers to optimize cost efficiency.


• Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and identify potential cost variations.


• Provide timely reports on cost forecasts and financial performance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.


• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.


• Strong analytical and numerical skills.


• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.


• Proficiency in construction cost estimation software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam).
