Quantity Surveyor

Elvet Recruitment have been appointed to recruit a Consultant Quantity Surveyor for a leading consultancy.�

Our client is a well regarded and established consultancy�who operate with a number of disciplines including�education, health, commercial, residential and leisure.

Career progression will be encouraged and preferred candidates will be expected to show commitment to become chartered, or at the very minimum be willing to engage in a programme to develop their skills and knowledge to the required standards within the profession.

Main duties will include:

Working within a new team, delivering projects from inception through to completion across Yorkshire you will be involved a number of the following;

Feasibility Estimates, Cost Planning, Risk Management, Value Management, Cost Benchmarking, �Production of Tender Documentation, Assessment and Reporting on Tender Returns, Cash Flow Forecasts, Advice on Procurement options, Advice on Forms of Contract, Contract Administration, Preparation of Interim Certificates, Cost Reporting and Management, Negotiating and Agreeing Final Accounts, Life Cycle Costing.

To be considered, applicants must:

• Candidates will preferably have a relevant degree.


• A technical background appropriate to offer the relevant skills to work across a range of sectors including higher education, residential, health and commercial projects.


• Customer focussed, have excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills.
