Randstad C&P are currently recuriting on behalf of a specialist subcontractor working on civils, groundworks and highways projects across Berkshire and Buckinghamshire! The role offers an opportunity to work for a company with a great culture, progressional opportunities and a strong salary.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and control project costs to ensure the project remains within the budget.
  • Identify and manage any cost variations or overruns.
  • Assist in the preparation of tender documents for groundworks.
  • Analyze and evaluate tenders from subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Ensure all submissions comply with the project specifications and requirements.
  • Review and understand the main contract and subcontract agreements.
  • Administer the contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Handle contractual issues and disputes as they arise.
  • Carry out regular site measurements and valuations of the work completed.
  • Prepare interim and final valuation statements for payments to subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Ensure accurate records of work progress and materials used.
  • Source and negotiate with suppliers for materials and services required for the project.
  • Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to avoid project delays.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
  • Prepare and submit regular financial reports to the project management team and stakeholders.
