Quantity Surveyor

QUANTITY SURVEYOR - ESSEX

Clearfield is working closely with a regional construction contractor�that support a wide-reaching portfolio of clients both UK and Overseas. With a full order book, many of which are repeat clients, we have been tasked to source a Quantity Surveyor with a minimum of 2�years post-graduation experience to join the commercial team based in Essex.

Main Responsibilities (not limited to):

• Ensure monthly, interim and final valuations, applications for payment, reconciliations of valuations and costs, amounts for contract, subcontractors and suppliers are completed as required by the various contracts and deadlines.


• Effectively work closely with wider commercial and project management teams.


• Project support for projects ranging between �500k to �3M.


• Provide timely, accurate valuations.


• Maintain good relations with Clients and their representatives at all times.


• Represent the Company's interest at meetings held in connection with works on the relevant projects.


• Place subcontract work packages under relevant contract, in accordance with the procurement schedule.

Key Attributes:

• Experience in a Quantity Surveying role with a�contractor based in the UK.


• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.


• Ability to maintain a professional image at all times when representing the company.


• Strong team player.

Qualifications and Certifications:

• Quantity Surveying degree or equivalent.


• Minimum 2 years post graduate experience.


• PQS background considered.
