Quantity Surveyor Role

A vacancy for a Quantity Surveyor has arisen to work for a well established Principal Contractor with over a hundred years of trading and who are well renowned within the industry.

Their workload varies from £500k to £15m with clients from all sectors including:

• Local authorities


• Education 


• Ecclesiastical


• Private clients

The commercial team are generally office based, in the London Borough of Barking and 15 minutes walk from the station.

Contracts are generally within the M25 region.

The variety of work means that contracts are interesting and diverse, hence my client are looking for a Senior Surveyor with good all round training.

The Quantity Surveyor must:

• be capable of remeasuring subcontract accounts


• be able to read from drawings


• produce a Bill of Quantities and shows longevity with previous employers. 

As a skilled Surveyor you will be a key member of the commercial team and will be provided with full support, working with a QS, Assistant and reporting to the Director.

Remuneration and benefits are very attractive and dependent on the skills of the individual candidate.
