£58,000 + Bonus

About the Role:
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of projects within the Building Improvement, Refurbishment, and Development workstreams. This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor with a background in cost management and contract negotiation to contribute to the success of large-scale projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Investment & Asset Management team to provide cost input for new development and refurbishment appraisals.
Monitor cost plans, highlighting potential risks and value-add opportunities.
Compile and issue invitations to tender, analyse contractor quotations, and make recommendations for order placements.
Attend pre-contract meetings, liaise with construction professionals, and ensure timely completion of agreed actions.
Visit sites to measure and value completed works.
Skills and Experience:
Qualification in quantity surveying or construction management.
Experience with a main contractor or PQS background, particularly in refurbishment and new build projects.
Working towards membership of RICS.
Demonstrable experience in cost management on a variety of projects.
Effective negotiation skills with internal and external parties.
