Quantity Surveyor

V7 Recruitment are currently working with our client who are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their award-winning property development team to deliver high quality housing across South England. Duties will include:
* Spending 2 weeks travelling down South managing projects and 2 weeks at their office in Manchester.
* Procuring materials and subcontractors.
* Attending project progress meetings with clients and Project Managers.
* Managing subcontractor payments, variations and producing cost reports.
* Preparation of final accounts.
* Identifying commercial risks.
* Monitoring cash flow.
* Assisting with the CVR.
* Working closely with the site teams including Senior Project Managers
* Reporting to the Managing QS
* Looking after programs
* Travel around South/ South - East England
