This is an opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a Tier 1 Main Contractor, with a �3billion annual turnover and nearly 7000 employees. With 9 divisions, including construction, Regeneration, Fit out and Civils.

About the role of Quantity Surveyor

Your role as Quantity Surveyor will be to wok as part of a commercial team on Residential/ Life Science / Commercial / Educational projects under both JCT and NEC contract ranging in value from �10m - �60m. You will be Office based for PCSA or Site Based whilst on live projects, reporting to a SQS or Managing Surveyor. With projects across Zones 1 and 2 London. You will be responsible for but not limited to; managing packages from procurement through to final accounting Working with the team to ensure subcontractors are managed on site, CVRs, review drawings, mentor junior members of the team and work collaboratively with the internal team and clients.

Requirements for Quantity Surveyor

The company are looking for a candidate with 2 stage tender with another leading Main contractor working on the a fore mentioned projects, ideally as a project lead and been involved with packages from procurement. Someone who is a motivated is keen to join a business with excellent training and progression and offer and where you can learn from experienced staff and who ideally have the following:

  • Degree in a construction related subject
  • Minimum of 4 years experience on a similar project
  • Competent in managing subcontractor packages and payments

The company are a Tier 1 main contractor who work across all sectors of construction, you will be joining their London Construction team and work on a range of build projects and have the opportunity to lead your own projects from 2-stage tender.
