An excellent opportunity has arisen for a capable Quantity Surveyor to join a growing Professional Quantity Surveyor (PQS) consultancy. Opportunities exist for recently chartered to associate level surveyors. �With several years of secured work ahead, this role is ideal for an ambitious individual who desires to with a senior team of professionals and take part in the early years of what promises to be a highly successful business.
The consultancy team is renowned for delivering projects across various sectors, including Commercial, Leisure, Retail, and Residential. Currently, there is a strong focus on delivering projects within the Industrial and Warehousing sectors.
This position presents exceptional levels of career progression with, for the right individuals, the realistic prospect of becoming a partner within time.
As a PQS, you will play a crucial role in the construction and infrastructure sectors, ensuring projects are completed within budget and meet the required quality standards. The core responsibilities of this role include:
Core Responsibilities:
  • Producing cost plans
  • Contract administration
  • Procurement
  • Managing project delivery through to final account

Requirements:�The successful candidate will have a degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying and at least four years of relevant PQS / consultancy experience. They should be able to demonstrate key skills across the entire construction process.

  • Analytical Skills:�Strong analytical and numerical skills to evaluate complex financial data.
  • Communication:�Excellent communication and negotiation skills for engaging with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail:�High attention to detail to ensure accurate cost estimation and reporting.
  • Technical Knowledge:�In-depth understanding of construction processes, contract law, and procurement methodologies.
  • Problem-Solving:�Effective problem-solving skills to address and mitigate project risks and issues.
