Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Location: Eastbourne (Hybrid)

Salary: �40,000 to �47,000, dependent on experience


Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) with a strong background in NEC contracts to join our team. This is a dynamic and fast-paced opportunity to contribute to high-profile projects within the construction and telecoms/utility sectors. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of Quantity Surveying experience and be capable of working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage and oversee all aspects of Quantity Surveying, including cost control, performance risk, and value management.

  • Provide detailed understanding and monitoring of quantified measures throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Interpret and apply NEC contract principles and manage compliance with terms.

  • Support commercial managers in understanding the construction build process and effectively communicate with various stakeholders.

  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation, reporting, and financial forecasting.

  • Collaborate closely with project teams to maintain high standards and deliver successful project outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills:



  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor with NEC contracts.

  • Ideally, a degree in commercial, contract, or project management (or equivalent substantial professional experience).

  • Strong industry background in construction; telecoms or utilities experience is also desirable.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proficiency in Excel and other relevant project management tools.
