Location: Basildon, Essex
Salary: �40k - �55k

About the Role:
A well-established steelwork specialist seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to manage financial and contractual aspects of various steelwork projects, from initial tender to completion. You'll oversee budgets, manage variations, ensure compliance with JCT & NEC contracts, and work closely with project teams to deliver projects efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Manage financial and contractual elements from tender to project handover
• Review and negotiate contracts, ensuring ongoing compliance
• Monitor budgets, variations, and implement effective cost strategies
• Work alongside project management to ensure timely, on-budget delivery
• Procure materials, enforce health and safety, and maintain regular audits

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years' Quantity Surveying experience
• Knowledge of JCT & NEC contracts and CDM regulations
• Strong negotiation, communication, and organisational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; full driving licence
