About the Role: This role is a commercial lead position within a team managing multiple surfacing schemes and frameworks in the South East. You will report directly to the commercial manager, ensuring the financial success and effective management of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor project costs and maximize value
Manage key supply chain partner accounts and subcontracts
Prepare cost/value data for monthly and periodic reporting requirements
Work with contract managers to prepare accurate forecasts and budgets
Conduct financial assessments through to final accounts
Prepare sub-contract orders and support procurement activities
Oversee change management and valuation of project adjustments
Support other duties as needed within the commercial function
Qualifications:
Strong experience with NEC4 contracts
BSc Hons degree in Quantity Surveying
Valid full driving license
Required Skills:
Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in financial and numerical management
Excellent IT skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to meet challenging deadlines
Experience:
Proven experience in a similar role with a stable work history
Knowledge:
Comprehensive understanding of the NEC suite of contracts and frameworks
