Quantity Surveyor - Hertfordshire

PSR Solutions are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor for a medium sized main contractor in Hertfordshire.

The organisation is a main building contractor who has an excellent reputation in the construction industry for delivering quality schemes ranging from �2M to �30M in value.

The company carry out work across all sectors; however their reputation is strong in the sectors of Commercial, Leisure, Retail & Industrial warehousing.

Job role: Quantity Surveyor

Rate: �300 - �330/day (DOE)

Duration: 1 year+

Location: Hertfordshire

Quantity Surveyor responsibilities:

• Prepare tender and contract documents
• Estimate material quantities, costs, labour, etc
• Undertake cost analysis
• Arrange payments and value completed works
• Liaising with client and running meetings

Knowledge and skills:

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure ans use own initiative
• Proven experience in a Quantity Surveyor/Commercial Management role
• Knowledge of construction and commercial awareness
• Strong ground works knowledge
