Quantity Surveyor 

Red Rock Consultants are partnering with a successful and growing Civil Engineering company near Silverstone.

Due to continued growth, we are recruiting an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional with a strong background in civil engineering and reinforced concrete (RC) structures to contribute to challenging projects across the UK.

Some travel is expected.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate monthly applications for payment and ensure they are submitted on time.


• Monitor project costs, track expenditures, and produce detailed cost reports aligned with valuation processes.


• Provide early quotations for client variations and ensure only commercially agreed variations are actioned by the production team.


• Manage client accounts, addressing payment shortfalls promptly and effectively.


• Collaborate with the production team to create and maintain monthly forecasts, ensuring strong commercial performance throughout project lifecycles.


• Procure subcontractor and supplier packages, negotiate contracts, and manage accounts effectively.


• Identify and implement cost-saving measures in collaboration with production teams without compromising quality or safety.


• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and contractual compliance.


• Ensure project teams have access to the latest information, including drawings and tender allowances.


• Maintain organized records of contracts, invoices, and correspondence.


• Mentor and support junior team members as required.
