I’m working with a well-established and rapidly growing contracting and demolition services provider that is looking for an experienced and driven Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team. The Role:
This position offers the chance to provide commercial expertise and project support throughout the project lifecycle—from feasibility to completion. Key responsibilities include:


  • Producing and assessing tender packages.
  • Preparing and agreeing valuations and accounts from interim to final stages.
  • Managing costs and maximizing project value.
  • Preparing detailed progress reports and CVRs.
  • Handling change management, including identifying and negotiating variations.
  • Overseeing contract administration for NEC and JCT forms.
  • Supporting site teams with processes and improvements.
  • Procuring and managing sub-contractors and suppliers.
  • Collaborating with accounts and credit control teams to monitor payments.
  • Acting with professionalism and integrity, ensuring client satisfaction and business success.

Key Requirements:


  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar commercial role.
  • Proficiency in measuring, preparing bills of quantities, and estimating costs.
  • Strong knowledge of tendering processes and contract forms such as NEC and JCT.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and ability to win work.
  • Proficiency with MS Office tools.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
