About the Role:

As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our reactive maintenance projects across social housing properties. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring cost control, value engineering, and contract administration, while working closely with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and valuations.
• Oversee contract administration, variations, and final accounts.
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to achieve value for money.
• Ensure accurate cost control and financial reporting.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure smooth delivery of projects.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and provide financial insight.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within social housing or maintenance sectors.
• Strong knowledge of reactive maintenance and contract frameworks.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., degree in Quantity Surveying or related field).
