Responsibilities as the Quantity Surveyor:
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in delivering cost and commercial management services across a variety of projects. Working closely with clients, stakeholders, and contractors, you will ensure projects are delivered efficiently and effectively. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing a full range of Quantity Surveying services from project inception to completion.

• Preparing cost plans, estimates, Bills of Quantities, and tender documents.

• Managing change, contractor payment applications, forecasts, and final accounts during the construction phase.

• Preparing commercial reports for client use.

• Collaborating with other disciplines to deliver integrated client solutions.

• Developing client relationships and delivering outstanding service in partnership with senior management.

Requirements of the Quantity Surveyor:

• A BSc in Quantity Surveying.

• Strong knowledge of pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying duties.

• Experience with NEC4 ECC contracts.

• The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Experience in Civils, Highways, or Public Realm projects (desirable but not essential).

• Membership or working towards membership with RICS or an equivalent professional body.
