We have an exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join an established main contractor based in Bristol. The business has a growing presence in the South West, with projects in the pipeline across the commercial, extra care, healthcare and education sectors valuing up to �85mil. The business operates out of regional offices and has won a place on several local and national frameworks.

About the role of Quantity Surveyor:

As Quantity Surveyor, you will be either independently running your own scheme with the supervision of a member of the senior leadership team or as number two reporting into the commercial lead on a larger scheme.

Key Responsibilities as Quantity Surveyor:

• Work alongside the pre-construction team through 2nd stage tenders
• Manage sub-contract procurement
• Manage sub-contractors accounts on site, dealing with variations
• Manage monthly valuations and liaise with the client
• Deal with final accounts
• Mentor junior members of the Surveying team and be involved in their professional development

Key Requirements as Quantity Surveyor:

• Experience working within a main contractor on schemes valuing circa �20mil
• Experience administering JCT / NEC forms of contract
• Must live in a commutable distance to Bristol and be happy to commute of office / sites
