Intermediate Quantity Surveyor
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established, multidisciplinary consultancy offering cost consultancy, project management, and employers agent services. Based in south east London, this role offers the potential for hybrid working and the chance to work on a diverse portfolio of projects, including residential developments (low, medium, and high-rise), schools, blue light facilities, and existing buildings .
Key Responsibilities: Liaise with clients, present schemes, and manage project programming to ensure efficient service delivery.
Act as the Contract Administrator or Employer's Agent , overseeing contracts and professional teams.
Prepare and present initial appraisals and feasibility reports .
Draft and manage contract documents , budgets, cost plans, and tendering procedures.
Monitor project progress, assess anticipated final costs, and prepare final accounts .
Formulate briefs and fee proposals while ensuring project objectives are met.
Ideal Candidate Profile: RICS-accredited Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or Cost Management .
Experience working with JCT contracts and design and build forms .
Background in residential, education, retrofit, and existing buildings .
Competent in MS Office Suite , including Excel and MS Project .
Chartership is desirable but not essential.
