Our client is a leading office Specialist Facades, Re-Clad and Dry Lining company based in Basildon, Essex. They have firmly established their brand due to excellent service delivering the best value and quality to be seen in their respectable sector, building a strong reliable reputation along the way.
 
We are currently looking for a talented and driven Quantity Surveyor to join our clients highly successful team.
  
  
Key Responsibilities

• Oversee cost management and financial control for multiple façade projects.
• Work on projects typically ranging from £2 million to £35 million.
• Manage three projects at a time, ensuring budgets are maintained and value is maximised.
• Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Conduct detailed cost analysis, reporting, and forecasting.
• Identify and mitigate commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee valuations, variations, and final accounts.
• Ensure all work aligns with contractual and legal obligations.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum five years' experience in façade quantity surveying.
• Experience managing projects valued at £5 million+.
• Ability to manage costs, assess risks, and ensure profitability.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills for supplier and subcontractor management.
• Degree (Preferred): A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field is beneficial but not essential.
