R&D Manager (Food)

R&D Manager (Food) North Down We are working with a successful food producer who are seeking to recruit their new R&D Manager to join them in North Down and to take up responsibility for their R&D department, developing and driving innovation across the product line. Reporting to the MD you will; Lead the R&D Team in developing and maintain key customer relationships through detailed understanding of their processing capability, specific requirements of their markets and products Create & develop new products core product range and manufacturing capability that will be commercially profitable to the business and the customer/end user To generate innovative products and processes and manage implementation from concept to launch including preparing initial costings and formulating recipes for new and existing products. To support customers with trials, product presentations, facilitating communication with relevant departments and being the primary point of contact for all technical or customer related projects, issues or concerns What we are looking for 3rd level education in a food related discipline ideally, with management experience Experience within a similar role with an excitement / interest in cooking and experimenting with food Ability to manage key customer relationships and demonstrate commercial acumen Able to demonstrate leadership and lead cultural change, role modelling Rich Sauces and Solina values For more info please do not hesitate to call or email.
