This role is ideal for someone looking to utilise their engineering knowledge in a creative and analytic way.
The role
As an Consultant within the team you will be in a client facing role from day one, engaging with technical and financial teams, conducting technical interviews, undertaking analyses as you prepare R&D tax claims to be submitted to HMRC. This will require you to draw on your existing engineering experience and knowledge, applying it to potentially new areas of engineering and industries.

You will work as part of a project team alongside tax practitioners to help companies to prepare their claims. You will work on multiple projects in parallel and will therefore have to manage a number of competing demands on your time.

You will work with clients varying in both size and industry, these industries include but are not limited to;

• Construction
• Manufacturing
• Fintech
• Pharmaceutical
• Financial Services

What do you need?

• A degree in an engineering related discipline (MEng, MSc or PhD)
• You will need 1-2 years of consulting, this can be from a variety of different industries
• You need to be a confident individual as this is a client facing role
