RE Teacher

Tradewind are recruiting for a RE Teacher for a position due to start in January 2025 at one of our Wigan client secondary schools

The outline for the RE Teacher position based in Wigan is below:

• Teacher of RE (KS3 and KS4)
• Ofsted rated 'good' Wigan school
• Full-time position
• Continuing until February 2025 in the first instance with high chance of extension
• Pay is up to MPS6, £223.62 per day

The successful RE Teacher will be joining an 11-18 client school based in the local authority of Wigan who provide education to over 1500 students. Highlighted in a recent Ofsted report was the sense of community at our client school where strong and caring relationships are said to be fostered.

To be considered for this RE Teacher position based in Wigan the essentials are:

• Experience teaching RE across KS3 and KS4, following the UK national curriculum
• Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
• Have the legal right to work in the UK
• Be able to provide a minimum of 2 references including your most recent employment reference
• Have a child workforce enhanced DBS on the update service, or be prepared to undertake a new disclosure
