Simply Education is collaborating with a dynamic Secondary School in Bolton seeking to recruit a full-time RE Teacher for an immediate start. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a welcoming school community with a strong emphasis on academic excellence and supporting students' personal and social development.

We are looking for an enthusiastic RE Teacher who can deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons on a wide range of topics, including religious beliefs, ethics, philosophy, and world religions. You will help students develop critical thinking skills and an understanding of different cultural and religious perspectives.

The ideal RE Teacher will be passionate about their subject and be able to inspire students to delve into these important topics. Your classroom management skills will be key in creating an environment where students feel safe to explore, discuss, and debate religious and ethical issues.

The Requirements:
The ideal candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a PGCE, GTP, BA Education, B.Ed, or relevant teaching qualification.
• Have experience teaching RE at the Secondary School level.
• Be passionate about religious education and able to inspire students to explore complex and meaningful topics.
• Possess strong classroom management and behavior management skills.
• Be able to plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the British National Curriculum for RE.
• Have a commitment to providing students with opportunities for personal growth through their study of religion and ethics.
