Location: West Horndon

Salary: £12.98 per hour

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Operative with strong Reach Truck experience (Counterbalance experience is a bonus) for our clients West Horndon site. The role involves handling large items (crates up to 6ft wide and 8ft tall), alongside general warehouse duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Reach Trucks to move and handle large crates and furniture for various projects.


• Perform general warehouse tasks, including:
  
  
  
  • Checking orders and verifying SKU numbers.
  
  
  • Conducting stock-taking and inventory management.
  
  
  • Loading and unloading goods.
  
  
  
  


• Support project work, which may occasionally require flexibility for urgent requirements.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday
  
  
  
  • 07:00–16:00 or 08:00–17:00
  
  
  
  


• No weekend work, except in rare cases for urgent projects.

Requirements:

• Essential: Proven experience operating a Reach Truck; familiarity with moving oversized crates is preferred.


• Desirable: Counterbalance license and experience.


• Strong attention to detail for stock verification and order checks.


• Good physical fitness to handle manual tasks.
