Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Reach Truck Driver to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The Reach Truck Driver will be responsible for operating reach trucks to efficiently move, load, and unload goods, ensuring the safe handling of inventory and contributing to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.

Location: Duckmanton, Chesterfield

Job Type: Full-Time

Shift Options Available:

• Days: Monday-Friday rotating (06:00 AM - 02:00 PM and 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM)
• Nights: Monday-Friday (10:00 PM - 06:00 AM)
• 4 ON 4 OFF Days: (06:00 AM - 06:00 PM)
• 4 ON 4 OFF Nights: (06:00 PM - 06:00 AM)

Salary:

• Day shift: £12.69 per hour £19.04 OT
• Night Shift: £14.44 per hour £21.66 OT

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate reach trucks to load and unload products from delivery vehicles and storage locations.
• Ensure accurate handling and placement of goods in designated storage areas.
• Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy by tracking and documenting movements of items.
• Inspect goods for damage during loading and unloading, reporting any discrepancies to the warehouse supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse operations and ensure timely task completion.
• Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

Qualifications:

• A current and valid Reach Truck license is required.
• Previous experience operating reach trucks in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and standing for long periods.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate handling and documentation of goods.
• Knowledge of safety standards and practices in a warehouse setting.

Preferred Skills:

• Basic computer skills for inventory management and reporting.
• Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
