Reception Manager - Boutique Hotel

Role: Hotel Manager

Salary: �30k + Bonus

Location: Manchester

We are recruiting a Hotel Manager to lead a small stunning boutique hotel in the heart of Manchester. The ideal Hotel Manager will be dynamic and dedicated, overseeing the day-to-day operation and ensuring a superior guest experience. The hotel is accommodation focused and we are looking for someone with a strong Front Office / Reception background, exceptional organisational skills, and a passion for exceeding guest expectations.

The role:

• Inspire and lead a small team to deliver outstanding hospitality.


• Lead on recruitment, training and development to uphold first-class service levels.


• Maintain effective communication through regular meetings and briefings.


• Ensure consistent delivery of high standards maintaining a safe, clean, and inviting environment.


• Continuously seek ways to enhance the guest experience.


• Oversee daily operations efficiently and effectively.


• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and HR procedures.


• Control operational costs, manage budgets proactively.and ensure accurate stock control�


• Optimise staff rotas to meet wage percentage targets.


• Report and investigate any accounting discrepancies.

The Candidate we are looking for:

• Proven experience in hotel management, ideally from a 4 or 5 star Reception / Front Office background.


• Ability to train, develop, and retain a high-performing team.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Proficiency in IT systems and knowledge of Reservation systems.


• Passion for guest service and high attention to detail with the ability to deliver the highest standards.


• Good level of commercial and financial acumen.
