We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Reception Class Teacher to join a vibrant and forward-thinking school in Maidstone. This is a full-time, temporary position starting immediately and running until Easter or longer. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in nurturing and inspiring the youngest minds in the school community.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the social, emotional, and academic development of each child.
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other staff members to ensure a holistic approach to education.
Conduct regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to both students and parents.
Establish effective communication with parents and guardians, keeping them informed about their child's progress and well-being.
Create a safe and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and independent learning.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching experience in Early Years or Key Stage 1.
Sound knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and the ability to implement it effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage positively with students, parents, and colleagues.
A passion for providing high-quality education and fostering a love for learning.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of young learners.
Proven organizational and time-management skills.
