Job Description

Are you a proactive and highly organised professional with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences? We are seeking a Receptionist & Facilities Assistant to oversee the smooth running of a modern, high-quality commercial property in the heart of Altrincham.
This role is a perfect blend of front-of-house responsibilities and facilities management, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

  • Be the welcoming face of the building, ensuring all tenants, contractors, and visitors receive a first-class experience.
  • \n
  • Oversee daily, monthly, and quarterly site inspections, ensuring building compliance and managing contractors effectively.
  • \n
  • Maintain property records, ensure safe working practices, review RAMS and fire safety plans, and manage evacuations.
  • \n
  • Keep logbooks updated, report faults or incidents, and communicate changes or updates to tenants.
  • \n
  • Participate in tendering and reviewing contracts while identifying opportunities to enhance services.
  • \n
  • Review and set building operation procedures, always looking for ways to improve the overall experience.
  • \n
What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in a facilities management, reception, or building management role.
  • \n
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • \n
  • A professional and approachable demeanour, with the ability to handle tenant or visitor concerns confidently.
  • \n
  • Strong organisational and administrative abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • \n
  • Knowledge of health and safety requirements.
  • \n

Location: Altrincham, Greater Manchester
Salary: c£27,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, working hours between 8 am & 6 pm (early/late start available)
