We are Westray Recruitment Group; a leading, multi-disciplined consultancy whose focus is on quality and service delivery. We are looking for a talented and motivated individual to join our team as an Industrial Recruitment Consultant, located at our head office on Team Valley, Gateshead.





THE ROLE



Your goal will be to deliver outstanding customer service to both clients and candidates.



Your specific duties will include:




  • Working on a fast-paced industrial recruitment desk that supplies temporary workers in to a range of manufacturing businesses across the North East

  • Sourcing, shortlisting and interviewing candidates to develop talent pools

  • Utilising our database, CV boards and social media platforms to access candidates

  • Reacting to client requirements, some of which will be at short-notice

  • Working in a 360 capacity, driving a sales pipeline and developing new business

  • Attending regular client meetings with new and existing customers

  • Being part of an on-call rota (1 in every 4 weeks) to deal with any requirements that come in outside of office hours





THE PERSON



We are ideally looking for someone who has previous recruitment experience (in any sector), however, we are also open to hearing from you if you’ve worked within the manufacturing sector and want a career change. Aside from this, the will to deliver exceptional customer service to candidates and clients is paramount. This requires you to be able to demonstrate exceptional communicate skills and the ability to react quickly, at short notice.



You will also:




  • Have the proven ability to prioritise, multi-task and work on your own initiative

  • Have a full UK driving licence and access to your own transport

  • Be confident in communicating with people at all levels, including an exceptional telephone manner and written communication skills

  • Enjoying working in a team-based environment
