Recycling Operative

Connect Appointments have an exciting opportunity for a Recycling Operative to join and strengthen our clients existing team in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham.

Please Note: Knowledge and awareness of Health & Safety is essential for this role.

\n

Working as a Recycling Operative, your duties will include:

\n

\n
• A key focus on Health and Safety in the workplace
\n
• Carrying out manual procedures and manual lifting
\n
• Packing and repacking batteries sorting by chemistry
\n
• Disassembling unit with batteries and preparing the loads for shipment
\n
• Preparing trailers including but not limited to pulling open/closing side curtains and fastening/unfastening load-securing straps
\n
• Paperwork verification's
\n
• Communication with managers, supervisors and stock control team
\n
• General warehouse duties and housekeeping
\n

What to expect from the role?

\n

\n
• Monday to Friday, 8am until 4.30pm
\n
• £12.21 per hour - paid weekly
\n
