Refuse Driver

M4 Recruitment are working with a leading waste management business who are looking for Class 2 drivers in Avonmouth and surrounding areas.

Along with driving, the job may�also consist of manual handling, moving the bins when necessary and helping out occasionally.

Hours are�Monday to�Friday starting between 0600 and 0700 and finishing 14:30 or 15:30 respectively. For first 12 weeks pay is �15.25 per hour and after going on contract it goes up to �16.67 per hour.

The driver will�be responsible for vehicle checks, using mobile IT equipment and completing daily paperwork. Sometimes you might also be required to work in various other departments, e.g. Recycling, Garden Waste, etc.

Our ideal driver:

- will have a good experience of HGV Class 2 driving (at least 1 year ideally)

- have a good knowledge of tacho laws and regulations

- Happy with�manual labour if necessary

The contract is temporary but could become permanent following a qualifying period. Both ad hoc and ongoing shifts are available with immediate assessments.
