ABOUT THE ROLE
Provide direction and clarity to Area Sales Managers ensuring they use their time wisely and can demonstrate a visible plan for success exists.
Focus on delivery of the most suitable opportunities, from the correct customer classes in the right geographic areas. Filling the sales office with local winnable opportunities is critical to success.
Set objectives, deliver the mission with passion and motivate the Area Sales Managers to meet their financial targets for the full area of responsibility.
Ensure the Area Sales Managers are working on a plan to penetrate new customers and win them away from the competition.
Conduct monthly 1-2-1 reviews with the team, drive a learning environment and deliver regular in the moment coaching via ride along days as required.
Create a team environment through quarterly regional meetings involving the Sales & Service Managers.
Managing effective relationships with a selection of the most critical customers that deliver the greatest impact.
Deliver 1-2-1 coaching monthly as a minimum.
ABOUT YOU
Experience of building and managing a high performing sales team.
An understanding of the MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) market within the UK, gained ideally by working within the industry or an adjacent one.
Very customer focused with the ability to deliver through others and spot opportunities for ERIKS via the team.
Strong commercial acumen and awareness of how a sales cycle operates from enquiry to full invoiced execution.
A proven history of leading a winning team in the industrial services marketplace.
ILM level 4 or 5 would be advantageous.
