Purpose of the Job:
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for identifying and securing long-term and short-term rental business for the company's bus and coach fleet, as well as other related products and services. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, achieving sales targets, and ensuring the highest standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain new and existing customer relationships.
Provide excellent communication and customer service.
Ensure customers are aware of changes and developments in the company's products and services.
Sales and Business Development:
Achieve set targets and objectives for the bus and coach products.
Maximise return on investment from selling the company's bus and coach products.
Sign long-term orders (12 months+) for the company's bus and coach products.
Maintain an awareness of trade and field situations to take appropriate actions as circumstances change.
Market Research:
Act on own initiative to research potential customers through various sources such as trade publications, historical data, past contracts, industry knowledge, and internet monitoring.
Data Management:
Maintain accurate sales records via the Sales Information Database (SID).
Ensure the quality and integrity of SID..
Requirements:
Essential:
Full valid UK driving licence.
Experienced negotiator in face-to-face selling with the ability to close the sale.
Excellent interpersonal skills and high personal presentation.
Sound general education and a basic knowledge of vehicles and transport.
Desirable:
Sound working knowledge of the bus and coach industry.
Experience with CRM systems and maintaining sales databases.
Previous experience in the commercial vehicle rental industry.
Familiarity with Dawsongroup's range of products and services.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing market conditions.
Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
