We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to oversee the daily operations of one of our clients small residential homes in Hertfordshire. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential home management and elderly care, with a comprehensive understanding of care home management and CQC compliance.
Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the overall operation of the home, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to all residents.
  • Manage and supervise all care staff, providing guidance, support, and training as necessary.
  • Ensure the home meets all regulatory requirements and standards, maintaining compliance with CQC regulations.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance the quality of care and operational efficiency.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and staffing levels to ensure the home operates within financial parameters.
  • Conduct regular assessments and reviews of residents' care plans, ensuring they are up-to-date and meet individual needs.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
  • Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to coordinate and improve care services.
  • Handle complaints and incidents, implementing corrective actions as needed.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in residential home management and elderly care.
  • In-depth knowledge of care home management and CQC compliance.
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Relevant qualifications in health and social care management.
