We are looking for a Registered Manager to set up a new care company in Glasgow, someone with a number of years' experience and expertise in the field of domiciliary care agency and have a knowledge of registration processes with Care inspectorates. Someone who has strong management skills and can grow the company.
I have recently joined forces with this leading digital provider of compliance management, policies and procedures which enables over 7,200 social care locations to deliver and evidence the highest quality care which is very much needed. They are currently recruiting for a Registered Manager oversee the implementation of the service's policies and procedures, evaluate the service's goals and quality objectives, and develop and maintain effective working relationships with the managers.
The Registered Manager's responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
To provide leadership to the administration, care staff and people management functions of the service.
To carry out and provide leadership in marketing the service and selling its services at the agreed prices.
To maintain the operations of the service at the standard agreed with the Registered Provider, within the financial budget or other parameters set by the Provider.
Be responsible for promoting and protecting the welfare of those individuals supported by the service.
Recruiting staff:
Induct new starters in accordance with the service's policy.
Lead, motivate and direct staff.
Conduct staff supervision and annual staff appraisals for all heads of department.
Develop staff to their full potential ensuring succession planning for the service.
Ensure multidisciplinary team working is embedded in the service.
This is a busy and varied role, to be considered for this role you must possess:
Good English skills - written and verbal
1st Level Nursing Qualification
Vocational qualification Level 5 Health and Social Care
Qualifications in Management
Understand how to read and produce the Provider's budget plans.
Plan and attend regular meetings with all stakeholders to keep abreast of views and expectations.
