I am recruiting a CARING and PASSIONATE Registered Manager to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable young people by providing a homely supported living for young people, aged 16-25 with complex needs associated with autism transition into adulthood
As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the operational day-to-day management of the service, ensuring continued compliance with relevant legislation. Working in partnership with colleagues in the senior management team you will drive the provision of a high-quality service enabling individual needs and organisational priorities to be met in accordance with available resources.
You will lead the day-to-day behaviour management programmes for each resident ensuring that staff are trained, supported and engaged to provide consistent responses to all clients. The home's leader must ensure that reflective supervision and learning takes place following incidents for all stakeholders.

As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
- Ensure the highest quality of service is provided to the service users in your care by promoting a culture that seamlessly aligns with the Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) framework.
- Deliver a home environment that puts the well-being and quality of life of the service users at the heart of everything you do, through embracing a person-centred planning approach.
- Carry out monthly monitoring of your home as set out under the Periodic Service Review and ensure that action plans are in place and are auctioned as appropriate.
- Ensure an up-to-date Home Improvement Plan is in place and that actions are driven in line with this.
- Proactively manage your home in relation to risk and regulation performance.
- Carry out relevant investigations in relation to significant events as necessary.
- Oversee complaints and safeguarding matters in conjunction with the responsible individual, ensuring reports are written and submitted to the relevant Director and appropriate agencies as necessary.
- Ensure a weekly management report for your home is prepared for the regional manager, in relation to all operational and regulatory matters.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 5 - Health and Social Care
- Considerable management experience relevant to residential care
- Excellent skills in the supervision and management of staff
- Proven experience in leading and managing a team and developing good practice in a care/learning support context.
- Proven experience in working effectively with clients with learning disabilities and/or special needs.
