As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and improving care delivery operations, ensuring that regulatory standards are maintained, and driving business growth. Your key objective will be to enhance service quality and uphold compliance with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) requirements. Key Responsibilities :
Improve the CQC rating to Good or above and maintain this standard.
Oversee recruitment, training, and supervision of care staff in partnership with the Registered Manager and HR team.
Ensure compliance with the Health & Social Care Act 2008 and all relevant regulations.
Support staff in preparation for internal and external inspections by the CQC.
Manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for yourself, your team, and the organisation.
Plan and implement service quality audits and process improvement initiatives.
Manage customer feedback, including complaints and safeguarding processes.
Oversee risk, health, and safety management for the team, and handle emergency escalations.
Collaborate with the Registered Manager on business growth strategies, including marketing campaigns and tender submissions.
Person Specification - Essential Criteria :
Proven experience in managing domiciliary care services or similar roles.
A strong track record of business development and growth.
Leadership skills with experience managing and motivating teams.
Experience supporting CQC, council, or NHS inspections.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience delivering high-quality, safe care services.
Proficiency with IT tools, including Excel and Word.
Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
Required Qualifications and Skills :
Full UK driving licence.
Level 5 Health Care Management or Business Management degree or equivalent.
At least 3 years of care management experience.
