Job Role: Registered Manager (Children)
Location: Nottingham
Salary: �40,000 - �50,000 per annum
Permanent Position
Requirements:

  • 2 years minimum management experience in a children's residential setting and at least 12 months holding an Ofsted Registration.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management within a Residential Childcare Setting (or equivalent)
  • Full understanding of the Ofsted Regulations shown within working practice.
  • An understanding of Trauma informed practice.
  • Extensive experience working with children.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Track record in the leadership and development of the staff team, ensuring that they have clear vision and goals, based around the purpose of care.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • To work with Senior Management and other Departments to achieve high performance.
  • To Manage the budget effectively and in line with company financial policies.
  • Take the lead and support with all regulatory inspections, ensuring actions are met.
  • Manage the daily operations of the care home, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to ensure coordinated wrap around care and multi-agency working.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.


Leadership and People Management:

  • To lead by example and develop effective carers within the Home.
  • Develop a positive working environment.
  • Provide regular supervision and annual appraisal to Senior care workers, and care workers.
  • To ensure good quality working relationships are built and maintained between staff and the young people they are supporting.
  • Attend a range of meetings, to include weekly children's meetings and weekly carers meetings.


Skills & Experience (Essential)

  • Experience of working in a therapeutic residential childcare setting
  • Clear understanding of the Ofsted regulatory framework
  • In-depth knowledge of EBD, PACE, Therapeutic Parenting, Trauma informed care and other complex/challenging behaviours.


Salary:
�40,000-�50,000 per annum
