Are you an experienced Registered Manager with a passion for delivering exceptional care in a specialised, solo placement setting?





Our client, a respected provider of residential childcare, is seeking a dedicated Registered Manager for their residential home in Loughborough. This role will focus on a solo placement for young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), providing a supportive, structured environment to facilitate positive outcomes.



 

Key Responsibilities:


  • Leadership & Management: Oversee the daily operations of the residential setting, ensuring a high standard of care and compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Individualised Support: Provide tailored support for the young person in care, addressing specific emotional and behavioural needs to foster development and resilience.

  • Staff Development: Recruit, train, and manage a team of residential care staff, building a positive and collaborative working culture.

  • Safeguarding & Compliance: Ensure that all activities meet the standards set by Ofsted and other regulatory bodies, upholding the highest standards of child protection.

  • Financial Oversight: Manage the budget for the home, optimising resources and maintaining transparency.



 

Qualifications & Experience:


  • Must be a Registered Manager: Proven experience as a Registered Manager in a residential childcare setting.

  • EBD Experience: Demonstrable experience working with young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties.

  • Knowledge of Regulatory Requirements: Strong understanding of Ofsted standards, safeguarding, and child protection protocols.

  • Leadership Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of effective team management.

  • Flexibility & Resilience: Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and respond effectively to complex situations.
