Role: -Regulatory Affairs Manager- Supplements/Nutraceuticals
Location: -Leicester-hybrid working available

Responsibilities
• Support the monitoring of local Regulatory intelligence for the Consumer Health portfolio responsibilities.
• Support the product development function with specification reviews, formula generation.
• Advise on nutritional information to the European Food Safety Authority for approved label claims.
• Approval of labels for own brand and customer labels.
• Maintain and update product technical files.
• Maintain strong awareness of regulatory legislation.
• Assist in supporting with other product categories as required by business needs (for example, animal nutrition, cosmetics etc)
• Provide copy and legal information for labels, websites and other platforms as required.
• Submission of Trademarking applications.
• Review tasks with constant improvement in mind
• Advise the company of potential regulatory risks and recommend compliant actions.
• Work closely with manufacturers to ensure required documentation and compliance evaluations are in place.
The Person
• Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent in Pharmaceutical or Food Science.
• Wealth of experience in a regulatory position within ideally Nutraceutical/Pharma or Food.
• Previous management experience
• Previous interaction with regulatory authorities.
• Strong commercial awareness
• Works independently to plan, conduct, and manage regulatory and multiple projects to meet department and company objectives.
• Commercial Awareness
• Experience and knowledge of local UK Regulatory landscape a must, EU Regulatory landscape would be desirable
