Regulatory Specialist - Salford, UK - Permanent - Competitive Salary c�50,000 DoE + Benefits - Site Based Role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Regulatory Specialist to join our client's Quality Assurance and Compliance Department, a global leader in the production of high-performance, specialty materials and chemicals.

This pivotal role involves coordinating and maintaining compliance activities across the company to adhere to all applicable chemical regulatory schemes worldwide.

What you need:

  • Degree in Engineering, Material Science, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Toxicology, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in a regulatory role with knowledge of UK and EU REACH registrations
  • To be able to work from our clients site in Salford 4 days per week.
  • Proficiency in Global Regulatory Schemes
  • ISO9001 or ISO14001 auditor training
  • Knowledge of TSCA regulation, FDA/food contact regulations, and compiling SDS under CLP and GHS
  • Experience with IUCLID, CDX, Microsoft SharePoint, and SAP

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure safe working practices in compliance with company HSE requirements
  • Manage global reporting, notifications, and registrations for commercial and strategic projects
  • Monitor budgetary requirements for compliance activities and contribute to the department's KPIs
  • Support continuous improvement across the company and conduct internal and external audits on compliance aspects
  • Serve as the day-to-day lead for interactions with Only Representatives, Consortia, and SIEFs
  • Monitor and assess compliance and risks in accordance with Company, State, Federal, and other laws and guidelines
  • Utilize the company's Intranet, SharePoint, and ERP systems for compliance tracking and reporting
  • Deliver internal training and updates on compliance aspects and manage any other duties within competence as requested
