Regulatory Communications Translation Expert (Nordics)

My client, a large global brand is looking for an experienced -Regulatory Communications Translation Expert (Nordics) on a part time basis (3 days). This can be based in the UK and requires Fluent Finnish and/or Swedish.

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a translation expert to work within our Merchant Marketing European organisation to work on the translation, copywriting, execution and delivery of Regulatory and Marketing Communications across Europe.

How will you make an impact in this role?

Specifically, you will have responsibility for:

• Marketing Translations and Communication Management of Regulatory & Marketing European Communications (80%)
• Lead communication translation from English to one or more languages and localised content. Translation includes complex regulatory content and must be translated to a high professional standard, maintaining both the critical regulatory information as well as the Amex tone of voice.
• Work with teams in various markets for their alignment, adaptation and approvals while working towards critical timelines
• Coordination and translation of regional regulatory communications: Pricing review, Annual T&C's update, Know your customer initiatives, Legal entity transitions, Merchant other legal communications, privacy choices support
• This role will require a good understanding of American Express and the tone of voice / acronyms. Learning it during the 1st months in the role will be critical
• Other Regional Initiatives (20%)
• This role sits in a regional Marketing team supporting all Amex Merchant marketing activities across Europe and the UK; support the European leadership team on key initiatives.

Native or fluent written communications skills for complex financial and regulatory topics and ability to translate seamlessly. Strong business acumen and attention to detail, and understanding of the critical nature of regulatory communications. Leading and executing complex campaigns working with multiple stakeholder groups. Strong will to win to make progress on projects with multiple stakeholders. Ability to understand the evolving regulatory environment and impact it. Strong project management skills and experience of managing multiple projects. Self-motivated, proactive and solution oriented
