We're actively seeking a dynamic and experienced Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our team in the UK.PLEASE NOTE THAT WE'RE NOT CONSIDERING CANDIDATES OUTSIDE OF THE UK. As a Regulatory Compliance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that Renovate.com adheres to regulatory standards, effectively managing and mitigating compliance risks. Reporting directly to the executive team, you will oversee compliance matters and act as the primary contact with domestic and international regulators.Responsibilities:Ensure ongoing compliance with FCA requirements, including SYSC, the AIFMD, and FUND sourcebooks.Responsible for the implementation of policies and procedures to mitigate Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Risks and prevention of financial-crime and terrorist financing. Maintain the Company’s Treating Customers Fairly policy (TCF) and Know Your Customer policy (KYC); Compliance procedures; Compliance Monitoring Programme; Business Continuity Plan; and Financial Crime Manual.Serve as the frontline contact for interactions with domestic and international regulatory bodies, including liaising with and reporting to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).Stay current with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, updating the compliance program as needed.Lead new partner onboarding from start to finish (including contract review, due diligence completion and review, and onboarding investigations). Assist financial services firms and lenders to help with their compliance regulations.Identify and assess potential compliance risks across the organization, develop strategies to mitigate risks, and implement controls.Oversee compliance training for employees, including the certification process.Establish monitoring and auditing processes to detect and prevent compliance violations.Prepare and present compliance and regulatory reports to the executive team.Uphold and promote the company's code of conduct and ethical standards.Foster a culture of integrity and ethical behavior throughout the organization.Collaborate with various departments to embed compliance requirements into business processes.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Law or Finance; or equivalent experience.5+ years of compliance experience in financial services.Operational knowledge in building and running a robust compliance program, with hands-on knowledge and understanding of FCA and UK regulatory requirements.Previous experience working within an FCA regulated environment, preferably having FCA approved person status.Experience with and a strong understanding of GDPR and/or UK Data Protection Act compliance.Experience with Treating Customers Fairly, Know Your Customer, Anti-Money Laundering, and related policies/topics.Desired Qualifications:Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with regulators, senior management, and third-party stakeholders.Ability to build collaborative working relationships with peers, colleagues, and remote-based teams at all levels of the organization.Flexible and adaptable in a constantly changing environment.If you are a highly motivated individual with a passion for ensuring regulatory compliance in the dynamic world of performance marketing, we invite you to join our team at Renovate.com!
